INJ 2102-T PoE Injector

INJ 2102-T DIN Rail PoE+ Injector with surge protection: 30 W PoE+ compliant, 1 x RJ45 socket, 1 x IDC terminal block, 10/100/1000 Mbps, IP20, potential separation, shield contacting with strain relief, shield current monitoring, expanded operating temperature range of -40C ... 75C.

The INJ 2102-T PoE Injector is a DIN Rail mounted single port, PoE mid-span injector. In environments vulnerable to voltage surges, it acts as an intermediary device between a non-PoE switch and a PoE device to inject fully compliant power over the Ethernet cable.

Generating up to 30 Watts, the INJ 1100-T provides electrical power to remote PD access points, pan-tilt and zoom (PTZ) cameras and video-phones. It complies with the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (30W of power) standard and is also backward compatible with IEEE802.3af PoE (15.4W of power).

With electrical isolation of the internal power supply, the INJ-2102-T is also protected against short circuits on the PoE side. The integrated surge protection increases system availability by protecting the connected end devices.

Through an IDC terminal bock, field wiring is easily connected to the PoE Injector and protected inside a covered wiring space. The cable shielding is connected quickly and easily, without tools, while simultaneously ensuring strain relief. This simplifies installation of the field cable and saves a great deal of time during installation.
